Early Life

​

Diana Jimenez was born and raised in Cali, Colombia. From a young age, she displayed a passion for music, performing regularly during her elementary school years. In her hometown, she actively

participated in her church choir, supporting Catholic children as they received their First Holy

Communion.

 

Education

​

As a teenager, Diana’s dedication to music led her to attend the Conservatory Antonio Maria Valencia in Cali, where she received vocal coaching. In 2003, she immigrated to the United States and began her academic journey at LaGuardia Community College in New York City, where she graduated with an associate degree in liberal arts in 2007. Her pursuit of education continued at Queens College, where she graduated cum laude in 2010 with a dual major in Economics and International Business.

 

In 2017, she further expanded her qualifications by obtaining an associate degree in Intelligence Operations from Cochise College in Arizona. Currently, Diana is enhancing her musical skills through online classes in songwriting and music production at Berklee College of Music.

 

Military Career

 

Diana currently serves in the United States Army, having enlisted in September 2016 as an Intelligence Analyst. In 2021, she reclassified as a Human Resources Specialist. Presently, she works as a MilitaryTechnician for the 99th Readiness Division, though she has put her career on hold to serve as a Career Counselor within the Army, demonstrating her commitment to assisting her fellow soldiers.

Personal Life

Residing in New Jersey, Diana enjoys spending quality time with her family. In her free time, she pursues her artistic interests through sketching and painting, and she frequently attends local performances to engage with the arts community.
